Now before arguments start, for the record, BOTH dog and cat owners responded to this poll of over 2000 adults. So whether you are team dog or team cat, you are covered either way.

What I found most interesting about this survey was that an overwhelming 69% of responders reported that pets actually help reduce stress and anxiety. I have certainly seen this to be true in my practice, with many families choosing to bring "fur babies" into their lives.
