Mental Health Conditions
Understanding Trauma
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health condition that may occur after someone has experienced a traumatic event. PTSD affects approximately 9 million adults in the USA.
Trauma can leave a lasting imprint on both the mind and body. Recognizing the signs is an important first step toward finding relief and reclaiming a sense of safety.
Recognizing the Signs
Trauma shapes how we see the world — and healing is possible with the right support.

Treatment often includes talk therapy, medication, and self-soothing techniques. Other specialized treatments, such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), may also be helpful.
